My Christian Leader’s Top 40

After writing these thoughts below, I asked myself, “Does the Church really need another word for government?” Even though my answer was negative, I thought it was worth clarifying and publishing this information to make my thoughts clear. Are there any benefits to your idea?

First of all, my ‘qualifications’ as a leader have put together this list. Most of the experience is in real life or professional work. But I got my first degree in group leadership almost twenty years ago. I am often asked to provide leadership rather than being the designated leader. And my leadership style is usually that of a facilitator of groups or a mentor for individuals. As a consultant, the power I used was personal information and communication, to achieve results from others through influence, not actual power.

Perhaps when you read the next column you will judge my ‘points’ based on what you think of what I have written.

So, it goes. Here is my Top 40 list of characteristics of good Christian leaders.

they:

1. New hire – a smart leader knows that it takes a good idea. They reward creative ideas. There is no such thing as ‘Leave your brain at the door’ for a good Christian leader. Of course, functional boundaries help with context.

2. Do not punish – why is love suppressed? In leadership, love can easily turn into evil. Punishment does not seek the good of the person being led. The end is his punishment. Do not punish. Increase relational strength and grace. Sometimes a lesson needs to be learned, but no ‘improvements’ need to be added.

3. Embrace the heart – big heart is the most important thing in the kingdom of God. As a leader, I want to embrace the will of the people, and the faith of the Holy Spirit.

4. Speak of holiness – according to Deuteronomy 6:4-9, it is the responsibility of the leader to speak the Word and the will of God, and the revelation of the Lord working in your our lives.

5. Use process – I prefer Ian Macdonald Systems’ Leadership process for team leadership and team membership, introduced to me in 1993. That process emphasizes the work of all the players on the team. Experienced leaders appreciate the importance of being efficient, effective and efficient, and above all speaking well.

6. Teach happiness – passion comes from happiness, and leaders understand that connection. Happiness is very motivating, and the ruler who represents happiness represents what most people want as a feature of their lives.

7. Be a good listener – good leaders have the humility to listen as if the person speaking to them thinks they are the only one in that space at the time.

8. Be honest – working on ourselves is hard. Some have to agree. Others will be very difficult. Others, however, do well; encourage them in the group. Honesty is unleashed because people are not afraid to be vulnerable because it has value.

9. Model motivation – an effective leader is a motivator. They model what they value for everyone to do. These types of leaders do not believe that motivation is a gift to some; Encouragement is a fruit of the Spirit in kindness.

10. History is worth it – a good leader knows that it stands on the shoulders of others before him. They know that there is no foundation, and they give it where it is necessary.

11. Take responsibility – a good leader knows the value of taking responsibility for things that go wrong. They know that it is the ruling system that needs to be fixed, not the people. A sense of security and well-being emerges.

12. It’s always a conversation – many things and events are celebrated and helped by simply taking them. A good leader is a wise counselor when needed. This pastoral concern shows the people where their leader’s heart is.

13. Schedule time – time and space are created by people to be thoughtful, valued, and safe. This is an important topic in our age. But his wisdom is eternal.

14. Communicate clearly – a good leader knows that talking is more than talking; what was not said, and what was transferred into the person through the reflection process that took place – many days and weeks after a significant speech. Communication is not just a one-time event. The meaning changes all the time.

15. The method is very radical – an effective leader creates something to increase value, but it is a radical, kind of method. Love is noble, but love is not noble; the radical has great value and becomes a norm. It may be considered a novelty.

16. Be very responsible – a good leader does not use responsibility to club people over the head. They also demonstrate measured accountability and ability, so they do it, honestly, appreciatively and with value.

17. Be supportive – a good boss thinks that what is insignificant to others is important to another. They always argue for the individual and the individual language.

18. Keep perspective – the little things can become overwhelming and make projects ineffective. The leader leads by asking “What is important?” and replied, “Not much.”

19. Manage problems – interpersonal leaders handle problems as intellectual challenges rather than emotional battles. Good leaders are perfect, but in times of crisis they are best able to lead others through times of trouble.

20. Define roles – a good leader gives everyone a specific role; and, as far as possible, each work is of equal importance in comparison with the work of others. People appreciate having value in everyone’s purpose.

21. Reliable results – a good leader knows that sound input equals high value output equals conversion output. They know it will produce good results.

22. Good appreciation – a good leader uses appreciative inquiry (AI). They know that there are more benefits to focusing on strengths than weaknesses.

23. It’s simple – in a violent world, a good leader is an example of safety, stability and peace. A good leader keeps everyone safe.

24. Resilient to failure – a responsible host does not really fail other than a system failure. Good leaders accept and appreciate that human nature is unavoidable.

25. Celebrate with humility – success is a hallmark of teamwork. A good leader uses success as a reminder to the team of TEAM (Treat Each Actual Member).

26. Lift up the lowly – according to John 3:30, the good leader shows where love is abundant: in taking the lowly from the earth.

27. Integrity remains true – a good leader is emotionally mature. They are reliable, steadfast and worthy of the trust they are given.

28. Enable diversity – experienced leaders appreciate diversity and accept like-mindedness and positivity as limiting factors. Tragedy is embraced in a diverse culture, and debate is fostered and debated. A good leader encourages conflict so that hard conversations can take place.

29. Give up control – a good boss is not a bad manager. They know how bad it is to be in power. They prefer to use personal power to love others and verbal power to empower others.

30. Be decisive – a leader never hesitates when the prospect is easy. At the end of a good leader is the two-fold trust in God, who encourages and renews them through his Spirit.

31. Enjoy the times – good leaders live spiritually, and they value awareness of time.

32. Are the blessed – the blessed of the Beatitudes. The Bible’s leadership knows how powerful the kingdom can be – even the things that are bad for us we continue to do by faith.

33. The father’s ambition – progress and achievements related to the group and kingdom, and God. A good leader does not put the cart before the horse. They achieve their own goals through masterful acts of cooperation with others.

34. Death is happy – a good leader is happy to die to himself or to die to himself. They live in the troubles of the truth in Philippians 1:23-24.

35. Fame is not – it is not good for people. A good leader avoids fame as much as they can. And they know that they are jealous of the success of others, and they are against it.

36. Love the family – what kind of demonstration of the truth of the kingdom if our family is broken? However, a good leader is happy to learn from his mistakes. But family is one area they want to do right – as much as possible. Family comes first, always.

37. Rest – good leaders should rest quietly and not burden others – as they are – because of their fatigue. But a weary leader glorifies God when they do good in their weakness.

38. Increase love – when their hearts are stirred, a good leader will not miss the place of love. They know they need time to recharge when their love is tired. They see love as the measure of their piety.

39. Self-awareness – a great skill for short-term reflection that good leaders are characterized by. Because of their self-awareness they repent, and many.

40. Love God – there is no greater leader than their praise of God who leads them by His Spirit. Worshiping God is their first love.
